Fond La era de la discrepancia
This archive brings together part of the research that led to the exhibition “The Age of Discrepancy. Art and Visual Culture in Mexico, 1968-1997” (MUCA, 2007). With the exhibition and the publication, the curators Olivier Debroise, Pilar García, Cuauhtémoc Medina and Álvaro Vázquez sought to draw up a panoramic and critical vision of cultural history in the country, based on a review of artistic practices developed in Mexico between two moments of political and cultural crisis. The documentary material in the collection consists of an extensive compilation of newspaper cuttings, video-recorded and transcribed interviews with artists, digital records of artworks, documents, as well as other materials specific to the research.

Fond Tetlapayac / Rafael Ortega
The archive assembles materials relating to the feature film made by Olivier Debroise Un Banquete en Tetlapayac (1999) based on the movie ¡Qué viva México! by Sergei Eisenstein. This archive was formed by Rafael Ortega—who worked directly with Debroise on the film—and comprises various documents associated with the production as well as film rolls and slides, like a kind of making of.
