Espacio de Experimentación Sonora
Arte En Vivo
This publication gathers five different projects and brings them into dialogue with each other. The first three, Altar of Light, Mexico City Phonomicroscopy, and Ales Canticum, all interventions in the MUAC’s Sound Experimentation Space, explore the different ways in which a space can be inhabited through sound. Sound, in turn, is expressed as poetry, music, or murmurings, and each intervention seeks to create a dialogue between the who, the where, and the how of listening. The final two projects, Order and Progress and Duran66o, propose new perspectives on the past, simultaneously offer-ing an alternative to the places from which we understand the present.
