Intensities in the MUAC Collection and Its Associate Collections
Altered Pulse is a reading of the works of the MUAC Collection and its Associate Collections (with a few additions from other lenders), triggered by experiences of exaltation and intensity, through productions that destabilize the images of reality and of social norms.
Collective excess but also the death drive and individual delirium; responses to experimentation with psychoactive substances; sexual disobedience, libidinal fever and the trance produced by partying and music; euphorias that trigger mobilizations; visualities that are closer to enjoyment than to sacrifice, championing pleasure over discipline.
