In various different registers, these Works explore the specters of history that lie dormant in the photographic image and its uses. These pieces address the rhetorical and political role of the images of Che Guevara during his campaignin Bolivia and his tragic death in 1967, as well as the material and visual unconscious of the colonial past in Central America, which permeates and extends into present-day imaginary.
