Los hablantes
Verónica Gerber Bicecci takes set theory and Venn diagrams as a starting point for developing a visual essay that presents a variety of linguistic operations and interactions that are used to construct a representation of speech and conversation.

These interactions operate as a field of tensions, silences, things unspoken and secrets. The proposal evokes different situations in the field of conversation, where gray areas and ambiguities produce the possibility of creating fictional narratives linking the speakers.
The work of Verónica Gerber Bicecci fluctuates between visual art and literature. This overlap has led the artist to generate a fertile practice that seeks to think language in space, the ambiguous link between the visible and the invisible, between what is spoken and what is silenced.
Intemperie sur (South Outdoors) is a MUAC curatorial program that seeks to generate a platform of visibility and inclusion for emerging cultural production and trigger new exchanges between local and marginal contexts. It invites young artists from Mexico’s regions and from abroad to produce site-specific projects in the courtyards, corridors and terraces of participating institutions, over 2014 and part of 2015.
