The creation of playful visual universes is a constant presence in the paintings, installations, videos, and photographs of Claudia Fernández. In tune with the abstract tradition in modern art history, this polyptych, composed of hundreds of paintings displayed in constellated montage, depicts stars suspended in a blue void.
Each piece delves, both individually and collectively, into the possibilities of painting as a poetic space that convokes subjective experiences, shot through with wonder at the totality of space and time. The work also explores the infinite relationships between the cosmic universe and the intimate one.
