Javier Toscano* (Mexico City, 1975) is a Doctor of Philosophy, visual artist, curator and researcher who works as a producer and researcher between Berlin and Mexico City. He is the founder of the Nerivela collective, which developed a social architecture project for the Venice Architecture Biennale. He also received an honorable mention from the CDA Foundation-Projects in Istanbul (2011) and the Best Art Practices award from the government of Bolzano, Italy (2008).
