Documentary Collection

We work to safeguard archives that help us to understand the transformation of the artistic scene in Mexico over the last four decades. With these archives and documentary collections, as patrimony of the university, we build and strengthen policies of memory and enrich historiographical accounts.

The collection is organized into intersecting nodes according to the different agents of artistic practice: artists, collectives, spaces, critics/curators, publications and artists’ books, social movements, instruments of research and museography/museology.
